so as summer is ending, so are leadership work days. It's coming to our last work days and soon to be our first days of school! this week seemed to go by really fast as it was being the last summer fun week, I will truly miss summer fun and all the people I met there and hopefully get to come back next year to see them again. well, Monday I was attending summer fun. we mostly made arts and crafts and planned on what we would do in that upcoming Thursday, you'll find out why later.. Tuesday was schedule pick up at leadership! I got to work in the front where everyone paid their fees. so I pretty much saw everyone who came there and signed my name more than 100 times, my hand really hurt from that. LOL, then right when leadership ended I had to rush right to summer fun where they took us to the beach for junior leader appreciation day, we went to a beach park at saw turtles and got free food. I got to spend time with everyone and it was really fun. on Wednesday I went back to summer fun where we again didn't do much but plan for the next day, and played dodge ball outside. but when summer fun ended I had to stay later than usual because of my sisters "leader meeting" so I just stayed by the playground area with another junior leader named bredan who had to stay late too. Then finally Thursday came, which was the BEST day of the week and whole time of summer fun, we had a mini carnival! There was bounce houses and face painting, and cotton candy. every kids dream! I had to help with the bubble station and "supervise" the bounce houses full of little kids. Friday was the last day of schedule pick up and the last day of summer fun. we didn't really do much at leadership on Friday, just hang up cards with names on it in the chorus room and sell uniforms. but since we ended really early I went straight to summer fun it was "water day" because it was the last day, and right when I got there everyone threw water balloons at me, it was cold LOL. then when summer fun ended that day I said goodbye for now to everyone who I made close relationships with and went home just to realize how much fun it was at summer fun, and how much I would miss it. summer fun 2015? I'm excited!
my highlight of this week was obviously fun fair, I got free cotton candy and shave ice. and I got to play with bubbles all day with all the little kindergardeners, and some kids even made bigger bubbles than me! the worst part of this week was probably having to say good-bye to everyone in summer fun, and even if I do see them next year it will be a longg while until next summer. hopefully next year will go by just as fast as this year is, I can't believe were already half way though 2014.. that means it's getting close to Christmas which is the best holiday everrrr.
I learned that friend ships and bonding with other people is important, friends are important! I've made so many friends in summer fun and honestly some enemies too, which I truly regret and will work on it as long as I liveee, all of the friends I made in summer fun helped me realize who I am, and being a leader helped me become more responsible thanks to my friends who are also leaders who pointed me in the right direction. they were so helpful and I love them, like familyyyyy. I know I'm going on and on about summer fun but I'm just really sad that' it's ending!

3rd week in leadership! ❥
So this week was I think a really fun week, I only got to attend one leadership work day which I'm pretty disappointed about, but summer fun made up for it 100%. On Monday it was at summer fun, we played this game called volleyball tenis, and I'm obviously the champ at that game, LOL. I also got to bond with a lot of the people in summer fun, I have close relationships with many of the people there, and I'm happy with that. On Tuesday I was at leadership, we were sort of tested on what we learned last week, we had to set up the music room by ourselves which was really easy, and we had to make a slide show, but my computer kept freezing and I couldn't even finish it! it was really frustrating, then we talked about year book themes and what designs fit what themes, but we didn't get that far nobody could think of anything! On Wednesday we had an excursion to Chuck E. Cheese, I felt really old because they would let me ride anything or go on the jungle gym thing, it really sucked. at the least I got to eat their pizza, honestly the best cheese pizza EVER! then we ate lunch a park in mililani and the people in my group (5th & 6th graders) asked me to play football with them but I didn't know how, and they wouldn't let me leave so I kind of just wondered around asking them what to do. haha, it was really weird. On Thursday, we didn't have leadership so I went to summer fun, We played four square and made weird dogs out of tennis balls, LOLOL. they looked very creepy, and it was kind of rainy so we stayed inside and played board games, watched a movie, and the teen leaders got to go in the other room and play with the pool table because everyone was distracted by the movie. Pretty fun I guess. BUT AFTER SUMMER FUN ENDED, we had a teen leader activity which was, *awkward drum roll* Laser tag! it was so fun, we had groups of three and my team had; Brayden, a tall boy who I had protect me the whole time, and ms.kalei a leader who is really fun and never acts her age which isn't a bad thing LOL. but you could say that we won, when we actually didn't but you can just say we did. I mean "a" for effort, right guys?... Then came Friday, it was our last pool day, (we go to the pool once a week) and again they convinced me to play a game with them, but this time it was tag in the water, and it was mostly the teen leaders playing, and I didn't want to show off my swimming skills I just kept tagging the slow people. (just kidding I don't have any skills) then after we got to go to the beach again it was fun as alwayssss.
the highlight of this week was probably Thursday , I really got to bond with everyone again, even better than Monday, I got really close to one teen leader named brianne, she's pretty chill, and my partner in crime.. so I think it was really the best day of the week. Or even the best day of summer fun! we played pool , well they did, I sort of just watched everyone while I ate Oreos making conversation with the other teen leaders there. only the teen leaders are allowed by the pool table so it's fun just being able to talk to the other teen leaders without worrying about watching our groups and I totally beat everyone in laser tag that day, *wink*.
I learned to not be scared to try new things, I tried many new things this week, like outside laser tag and football, it's not always fun, but it helps you bond with others as you try new things and I'm looking forward to trying even more new things, I've heard ranch and pizza go good together. well see I guess. *wink*

2nd week in leadership! ❥
so this past week was pretty fun, On Monday I was at summer fun. I got to go to my sisters group with the 5th and 6th graders. I know a lot of the kids in that group because most of them went to Holomua, and they were all around my age. we played some games like dodge ball, which i really suck at because everybody aims for me whenever they have the chance. On Tuesday, I was at leadership with everybody else. We mostly worked on our bio cubes, I finally got to finish mine after how long it took, then most of the girls went to Pho for lunch, but I couldn't go because I went to a dodge ball tournament for summer fun. I have so much to do in summer fun, sucks I don't get paid right?! But on Wednesday I went on an excursion to gun stock ranch and rode horses with again, my summer fun group. There was horse poo everywhere, it was so hard to avoid stepping in it, but I guess I'm a secret stealth ninja and missed stepping in it, but when we got back my sister had to do this thing where they tied a box to her hips and she had to dance to shake everything out of the box. Thursday I was back at leadership, and we practiced setting up the music room, and we had to set it up by ourselves then play music. Then when he had free time, we tried to play cards with fiber bars. Then we had to move all of the desks out of A101 and stack all of the chairs so they could wax the floors. so when I got home it was crazy to find out my nephew came overrrrr he was takin pictures on the computer for some reason and it was funny. he likes the photo booth a lot I guess.
The highlight of this week was being able to come to leadership and learn something new every time. WITHOUT GETTING BORED! That's pretty rare, I really like it. I hope it last throughout the whole year! I'm getting more and more excited to be apart of leadership. I'm confident that the other girls are too.
Lesson learned, I learned that procrastination is something you shouldn't do, I put off working on my bio cube and name tag until the last minute, so I had to stay up past midnight to finish both. The end result was great, but I would have been more satisfied if I had finished it earlier on and had more time to do touch-ups, I will work on it.

My 1st week in leadership! ❥
So, what I did this week... well, I only came to one leadership work day because I had summer fun on Tuesday and I was sick on Thursday. Which really sucked, but I will still tell you everything that happened. First, on Tuesday I was at summer fun. And since you guys don't know what summer fun is, I will explain. It's a volunteer job that I'm taking this whole summer. Its from 8:30-2:30 everyday but I'm only attending Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. But basically the junior leaders (me) are split into groups of two or three with one grown up leader, I'm with kindergarten, and we have to plan activities with the leader with the children, the kindergartners are so adorable! I also met a really cool girl named brianne we took some poloroid pictures that day, and it was so cuteee. We became best friends so quickly she's really nice. (: but, We mostly just had free time to dance and play in the room, or draw. which was pretty much the whole summer fun day.On Wednesday I came to leadership, I was about 10 minutes late because my dad had a meeting on the computer and i had to wait until he was done so he could take me. Then when I finally got there, I saw some new faces that I haven't seen before and I didn't really talk to them because I was scared, I don't even know why. But we mostly just cleaned up around the class room, getting ready for the upcoming year, and we started the project, which was the cubby covers. when we design piece of paper for our little cubbies. leadership felt really short, mostly because we spent most of our time making our cubby covers because were getting scored on them. And once leadership ended I had a summer fun activity for the junior leaders as a reward since we don't get paid I guess. LOL, but we went to a volleyball tournament against the other summer fun groups, such as; Ewa Mahiko, and some other teams I don't remember. I was so embarrassed, because everyone knows I play volleyball and I totally missed half of my serves, only because we had to underhand serve... But it didn't really matter because my team still won first place! Then we got pizza, and went home.
On Thursday I stayed home from leadership and summer fun, because I got sick! On the day right before 4th of July, it really sucked, so all I could do was stay home and rest. So that's pretty much all I did on Thursday, but it's not the worst thing ever, so I have to deal with it.
But the best part of Tuesday was probably when they got to draw, they drew me some cute pictures, I'll place a picture to show you my favorite one, by one of the kindergartners named Eva, like from that cute movie Wall•E. the worst part was when they had free time in the big room and all of the little girls would hug me and not let go or slap my booty.
My favorite part of Wednesday was when we got to work together and plan our cubby covers. We got to bond and meet some of the other new people in leadership. But my least favorite was probably when we had to ride the bus home from the volleyball tournament because everybody smelt bad. It was so gross. There was not really a 'best part' or 'worst part' of Thursday, it was all the same, just sleeping and eating and more sleeping.
What I learned this week was, not to be scared to talk to people you don't know. I'm beginning to be friends with girls in leadership, and I've made many friends in summer fun. Its not scary to talk to a new person. Its better than being surrounded by strangers. And I'm very sorry for my late blog, I didn't know it was due at 3 today, I was at a summer fun activity until 6:45, which was pretty fun by the way. But yeah, sorry. No more late ones from now on!
