Monday we had periods 2,4,6,&1. in English we had to work on our third paragraph and that's pretty much it.  then was math and we worked on adding & subtracting fractions. third was social studies and we did some vocabulary stuff. last I had art and I started to finish sharpieing my Hawaiians work, I think my shark looks pretty cool actuall LOL. Tuesday's periods were 3,5,1&6 and we did our heart rate thing. then in leadership we had to do more with our Zumba stuff, the art we started coloring the Hawaiian art. last was social studies we had to correct sentences, I sat behind a hot boy, LOLOL yass. Wednesday's periods were 4,6,&2. math we worked on number lines and in social studies we had to read a comic called "ihunui" then lastly in English we fixed our third paragraph or something I guess. Thursday's periods were 5,3,&1 in leadership we had to practice more on Zumba because on Friday they had to teacher dance team our own dance. in science we worked on graphs and the boy sitting next to me wearing the cast smelled pretty weird, I mean.. in a bad way. then in art I finished coloring and I'm about to paint everything so I'm almost donee. and fridaaaays periods were 6,2,4,&5 but my team went to a field trip to the bowling ally and I didn't go so I just stayed in the leadership room until 11 o'clock when my dad picked me and Tiana up to go to my brothers homecoming football game at punahou against iolani they won 50 something to 27? 26? I'm not sure but then after hat they lit the P on fire which was really cool and the kids around us were so rude, somebody hit me in the face with their hair. it hurt so bad LOLOL. 

highlight of the week was duhh, Friday. we didn't have and school work and we got to watch the other periods do their Zumba dance annnd I went to my brothers homecoming game afterwards, it was pretty gee'. until my brother cropped me out of the picture he posted from the game. smh. but the lowlight? um when I read all of the tweets Cheana made about me, hmph I hope she's reading my blog rn. LOL ty for all of the tweets about me, you wonder why I don't download it. don't wanna make a bad decision and tweet something that I know would hurt somebody else's feeling. :) 

lesson learned, not everybody is gonna like you. even if they pretend they do, there is some fake fake people out there. so gotta watch out, it's not fun finding out somebody dislikes you. makes you feel a certain way, like you're not good enough for them to like you. humph, wise words from Emma.. gotta look out 24/7

Party city

Mond-ayyyyes periods were 3, 5, 1, & 4. First was science, and we just watched a video and took notes, but next was leadership And we had to work on our Zumba dance and it was pretty fun. Third was art, and we had to go to the media center to work on our Hawaiians art. I'm drawing a shark and it's pretty ba. Then we had math and we did a game where we raced other tables to see who can do math problems faster and work on our team work. Tuesd-ayees periods were 4, 6, 2, & 3. First was math and we learned how to find the GCF & LCM. and I caught on pretty easy. Next was social studies and we had to take a test on foreigners and it was pretty easy bc I took good notes, i got an A. And I let Tirana use my notes and she almost got an A too. Third was language arts, but in the middle of class I left school to go to Waikiki to meet my dad's brother and his wife for the first time bc they came to Hawaii on a cruise. And it was really fun me and my nephews were swinging on the vines of the trees LOL. wednesd-ayees periods were 5, 1, & 3. First was leadership so again we worked on our Zumba dance. Next was art and again we just worked on Hawaiians art and some people started sharpieing their drawings but I didn't. Last was science and we did an activity called the Pennie flip to show how the more you do the experiment the more accurate it will be. Thursdays periods were 6, 2, & 4.  First was social studies and we took notes and stuff, but that's it. Next was English and we watched more videos about how to start a personal narrative. Last was math and we met Mr.J and taught us a magic trick and he told us about some math camp which sounded cool. Frid-ayees periods were 1, 3, 5, & 2. First was art, and I started sharpying finally. Then was science and we learned step 6 in doing an experiment and took notes and stuff. Third was period 5 and we mostly just messed arpund playing cards and Jayde fell asleep and her eyes were open! LOL last was period 2 and that was English. We had to draw a picture to represent what's important to have in a personal narrative. Then after school on Friday my old school holomuas annual ohana fair, I went and saw most of the people I hated when I went to that school and some of the teachers I hated to, so yay! but I also saw some people I missed and got to talk and stufffffff. It was pretty cool.

The highlight of this week was probably Friday, the ohana fair was pretty fun. And I got cotton candy. Truly the best thing ever. So it was was obviously the best day out of the week. Yippee to ohana fair! Yassss, but the lowlight.. Maybe like Wednesday, I was stuck at home it was boring.

The lesson learned this week would be that friends are forever, at ohana fair I saw some people I haven't seen for a while and we still acted as if we saw each other everyday, like we turned up together forever and nothing ever changed, I missed them. I really did, but ehh I'll see them again next year. LOL

tv problemsssss

this weeks job was tv, after school sales, and lunch music. so with that said I'm just gonna start talking about the week. Monday was a normal day cheana went on tv everything went fine. the periods were 4, 6, 2, & 1. math class on Monday went by really slow, we did a review on what would be in the test coming up in Wednesday. in social studies we took notes on hawaii foreigner because we were going to have to go over it next class. then in period 2 we worked on the spring board like always and we started writing our personal narrative. period one was just art, we had to draw what we thought was a good idea for a mural on the wall of the chorus room wall. Tuesday Jayde went on TV and since I went to sleep really early on Monday I wasn't tired at all, it was like the first time ever I wasn't falling asleep during classes. when I noticed I was happy about it LOL. the periods that day were 5, 1, 3, & 6. in period 5 we had to just work on anything that had to be worked on and we had to start thinking of dance moves for our project that we were going to have. period 1 we had to go over what we did the day before "symbols of art". period 3 we had to go over independent and dependant variables and I still wasn't tired through class, it was a good day not being tired. the last period on Tuesday was social studies and we had to work with a partner to figure out how to identify text structure things, I don't know how to explain it. ohh well, Wednesday was a little different. I was in tv, and in one part I got confused and messed up in my words so I started giggling. everyone kept asking why I was laughing on tv and I had to explain that messed up and it was embarrassing, LOL. the periods for Wednesday were 6, 2, & 4. period 6 we had to go into groups and we had to write down what notes we took on the foreigners the class before and we were graded on it, it was hard.. then in period 2 we had to "peer check" for our personal narrative and we had to give "pointers" on everything. one of the girls I had to check couldn't spell anything correctly. she kept spelling "cat" as "can" how does "t" sound anything like "n"? likeee wow.. last was period 4 and we had to take a test, and I got some wrong but he still gave me an "A". yasss, I was happy about that. thursdayyyy was dericka on TV and it was confusing because we had two guests and I kept messing up on the slides but I fixed it don't worry guys. I won't let you down ilima tv, I will serve you good America! but the periods on Thursday were 1, 3, & 5. period one we had to meet with the artist that would help us paint the mural on the chorus room wall and she was very self centered, I think I'm going to have problems working with her. LOLOL, ohh well. period 3 we worked on all of the "steps" to do a science project and were having a test on it in the next class I think. Friday was finally the end of the week and was tianas turn to go on tv, and It was supposed to be "Jamba Juice" day. butttt the periods for Friday were 2, 4, 6, & 5. in period 2 we worked more on our personal narrative, we were supposed to write the first and last paragraph but Mrs.Carbonero took too long to show us the slideshow that class ended before we could even start, that was a lucky lucky moment. next was period 4 and Mr.Barauga told us our grades which I talked about in Wednesday I got an "A" even though I got I think 4 questions wrong. then was period 6 and we had to correct the stupid paper that we did with our groups and I think we would have had a bad grade if the other group didn't mess up in writing our paper so Ms.Liu just gave us a "B" so it was a lucky week I guess, hahaha. then the last period of the day was leadership and we didn't really have anything important and we were waiting for school to end so that we could get Jamba Juice but I guess they cancled last minute so we couldn't even get and Jamba Juice. it was sad. but today I went to my brothers football game with cheana and tiana so that was pretty cool we won against saint Frances 52-0. good job punahou! 

the highlight of his week would probably be yesterday and today because yesterday I went fishing with cheana and tiana and I caught a baby humu. then they both slept over and came with me to my brothers football game today and we took pictures at the pond in the school it had so many turtles it was cute. then after that we went to my house and snuck into the golf course in my backyard and played volleyball until it was dark and we couldn't see anything LOL. but the lowlight would have to be taking the test with ms.Liu I was under so much pressure, omg I'm so happy we ended up with a "B" good job Emma. 

the lesson I learned this week was that practice is important. if you wanna stay good at something you need to keep practicing it, like when were at the football game I raced tiana and she almost beat me! I feel like I got slower because I haven't been running a lot lately so I should run more and practice to get faster. and whoop tiana in races. LOLO

video essay troubles...

so the assignment given for this assignment blog was the video essay project and we had about 2 weeks to complete the whole thing. this assignment was mainly a redo of our leadership application, and I can say that it was way better the second time around. there were about 4 slides then an essay that was actually a video. the first slide was was our name picture and a background that relates to our Interests and the background had to be consistant throughout  the whole PowerPoint. the second slide was, our "personal information"; we had to write our email addresses, home address, ect. the third slide was "what we have to offer" and we had to explain what characteristics would help the leadership program . the fourth slide was our new idea for a program, we had to make our own idea for what we thought would be a good program, and I chose a debate team. I felt so special because I didn't get any help finding that idea, it was accomplishing. the last slide was our video essay, we had to talk about ourself and we HAD to have background music with the video essay in order for it to be correct. you wouldn't believe how excited I was when I finally finished my essay.. 

the highlight of this assignment was definatly writing about the program I would like to create. I thought of "a debate team" the more I thought about it, the more excited I became about it. it was really fun, and got me excited for the program if it were to become an actual program. but a lowlight might have been editing the video essay, I noticed that my music was too low and it wasn't as interesting as I hoped, but I'm glad I finished with all of the needed requirements. 

an important lesson I learned from this assignment was to stay focused and don't put off your responsibilities until that last minute. I had to record my video essay really late at night and I really wish I had done it earlier so that I would have time to work on it more and perfect it as much as I could, obviously I didn't do that because it wasn't perfected. hahaha.

if I could have done something differently to my assignment I would have had to have been my video essay, I know I could've done better in more ways than one. I could've fixed the music and had a more exciting attitude during the essay. maybe even fixed my hair more, haha not really but I know I could have better in my video essay esclecialy in ways to make it more interesting. I felt like it was really boring and could've been more interesting. maybe if I didn't do it really late at night I wouldn't look so tired.. well I'm pretty proud of my assignment and I'm confident of my work that I've done.

working by ourselves

so this week was good and bad, it was good that we didn't have school on Monday because that was the day I came back from my trip to California! also we were going to be working on our own this week! Tuesdays I was working music with dericka. I think we did well, except for when the wifi went out for a few minutes the music stopped playing and we didn't know what to do, so we had to ask for help. But other than that I think we did really well. Tuesdays periods were 6, 2, 4, & 1. social studies was only us finishing up our kamehameha story book because it was going to be due that Thursday which was the going to be the next class we had with her. next I had language arts, and in that class we read a short story and talked about how how it was a personal narrative. third was math with Mr.Barayuga. the class got into trouble  because some people didn't fill out their graphs correctly or didn't do it at all,but no worries guys I did it correctly and I didn't get into trouble. my last class for Tuesday was art for CCLM. in art we didn't really do anything we just identified opinion and facts off of an artical about art, then we had free time and everyone playing "dare", very very weird. my job for Wednesday was IDs with Kaelyn and Dayna, everything went okay because I convinced kaelyn that we weren't allowed to write the dates even though she we had to, so I saved the day! :p  the periods for Wednesday were 1, 3, & 5. first I had art and we had to finish our "Elements of art" project because it was due that day, and I finished right on time to go to wiki, good job emma! (: second I had science and we got yelled at many times for talking but she still let us use the computers to "test" which cites had credible information. last period was leadership, we didn't really have an assignment to do so some people went to get new AR books, "dericka". and some people stayed and worked on our power points, and I think jayde just read her book for the AR test? well my Thursday work job was the TV computer so I had to type out all of the announcements Lori had to read when she went onto tv. the periods on Thursday were 2, 4, & 6. in language arts in my first period we took our CFA test and Mrs.Carbonero said she expects many of us to get bad grades because we didn't learn it yet, so I'm scared! I don't want a bad grade! next was math and we mostly just learned about dividing decimals and how to hop the decimals back and fourth correctly. then lastly was social studies, and the story book was finally due. it had to be finished that day or we'd lose points and that affects our grade! ew, why you so strick Ms.Liu? my job on Friday was music again but this time it was with Petriese, we did good! we played a game called "name that tune" and people couldn't think of any of the stupid names of the old school songs we couldn't even give out all of the prizes and I'm pretty sure the girls that kept winning were googling the name and artist of the songs LOL. 

some good things to point out on working on our own was that I knew what to do, I knew what my job was. I wasn't clueless about what we had to do, and so did everyone else. there were only a few mistakes here and there and that's a good thing. some bad things was that I kept asking questions when I was supposed to figure it out on my own, but I just didn't wanna to make what ever happened worse than it already was I guess. but in the end everything worked out and other than most of the intros of the whole week. LOL

the highlight of this week was going to the koolina hotel with cheana and tiana, we spent the whole entire weekend here and going snorkling/swimming at the beach and swimming it the hotel pool. we snuck in the pool at midnight but we got caught and we had to leave. LOLOL but it was really fun because we got to feel like grown ups getting to explore the hotel alone. we got lost twice LOLOL. the lowlight would probably have been all of my science classes because we always get yelled at in that class and I hate the people I sit by.

the lesson I learned from this week was that you can't always depend on everyone to do things for you, you need to be independent you have to learn how to be self sufficient because you're going to need that skill for now and the rest of your life. by working on our own I learned that no matter how hard we try were going to have problems thrown at us and we won't always have people to solve our problems so we need to be prepared for everything that could be thrown at us. 

very very exciting week

so this whole week was pretty cool not starting from Monday, but the periods were 1,3,5,&6. art was my first class. we worked on our "elements project", we were working on the element line so we had to draw a bunch of patterns. my next class was science then leadership. i don't really even remember what we did but I know I was really tired and I didn't feel good in those periods. then lastly I had social studies. we got to work more on our kamehameha unification project and explain how to relate a picture with a part in time. then on Tuesday the periods were 2,4,6,&5. my first class was English and we had to work in our spring boards again, just on personal narrative. AGAIN. my next class was math and we worked on more math, going over what we learned. (adding, subtracting, multiplication, and division) my third class was social studies again. we got to work on our projects because it's going to be due soon. last was leadership again and we sorta got a free period just working on our projects. which is a power point. but all day that day everyone was saying "hi president" and it was really funny. LOLOL Wednesdays periods were 3,5,&1. first was science and we took notes on objective and subjective observations. next was leadership and we hung up posters for the welcome social that was on Friday.  and lastly we had art again. and we had to work on our projects some more. and this time we did the element shape. and after school me and tiana went with cheana to the beach to fish. I caught a cool fish, and her dad caught a puffer fish.Thursdays periods were 4,6,&2 and that day my first period was math. Mr.Barauga and Ms.Lin taught us how to add and subtract decimals. or at least he reviewed it with us. then was Ms.Liu and again we just worked on our project. I think it's due Monday but I'm not sure. then last was English and we talked about Cinderella and the elements of a personal narrative. last was Friday, the exciting day. the periods were  5,1,3,&4. first was leadership and we had to help set up for the welcome social and plan where everything will be. next I had art, were finishing up our projects and Tuesday is our last day to work on it so that's exciting LOL. then was science and we took a test about subjective and objective observations and it was really easy. I'm pretty sure I did good. then last was math and we played a game where you had to make a problem that equals to a certain number they chose. I thounk we are going to win againts the other team. after that was the welcome social and I had the first gift for the ring toss. it was so tiring you dont even understand! then right when my shift ended I had to go home and pack because I had to catch a plane to California! and that's where I am, in California with my sister. right when I got here we went to the store and bought a bunch of stuff. I'm so happy, I finally got new shoes LOL. 

the highlight of the week was obviously today because I'm in California. and the more I come here the more I wanna live here. I'm just really happy to be able to see my sister that lives here. 

the lesson I learned this week was that working hard pays off, we worked hard at the welcome social and everyone seemed to have lots of fun. 

a very exciting week!

so starting with Monday, I knew this week would be every exciting. it was elections week! on Monday our periods were 2,4,6, & 3 so that means I had English, which we are finally starting to learn stuff. were working on "personal narrative" which is sorta interesting. then math where we went over multiplication and we had to do a small worksheet for homework that I finished in class because we had some extra time. next I had social studies, and everybody says that ms.Liu is really mean, and I used to disagree but seriously LOL she's so strict, it's getting annoying! and last I had science and all we did was Simon says because it was the last period and we aren't supposed to continue a lesson or anything. school rules I guess.. Thennn on Tuesday it was elections day as well as the periods being 3,1,5, & 2. so that means I had science for this time even though we had it last the day before. annd so we worked on Cornell notes, even though most of us already learned it from all of the other teacher who taught us. next we I had art and were already starting a project! it's for all of the elements and it seems really fun. Third, we had leadership. it was pretty chill and we just worked on anything we had to. THENN afterw period 5 it was voting time! everyone one was voting and it so exciting! all of the girls were handing out candy and stuff but I wasn't. I didn't even know we were allowed to bring things to pass out. my group leader said it was against the rules, but I didn't ask Mr. Ing didn't really say anything so I guess it wasn't. they didn't announce who won the spot of being 7th grade president they said they would tell us later. the last class of that day was English, we just played bingo because it was also the last class of the day and we weren't supposed to continue any previous lessons. so on Wednesday I came to school not knowing if they would tell us that day or the next, But they did! during morning TV they annouced that I won the spot as 7th grade president and I'm really excited for this spot, all of the other people running were also really good for the spot and I wasn't sure if I would get the spot or not. .But the periods of that day were 4, 6, & 2 the first class I had was math but I didn't go because I had to help with picture taking and it took up most of the period. next is period 6 and it was social studies again. we learned mostly about king kamehameha and we have another project. We need to make a flow chart and I haven't really even started yet, but she said it was really easy. we only have to copy down what we already wrote and make it look attractive. the last class of Wednesday was English. again we worked mainly on the personal narrative and the elements of a narrative. we also read some short story's which was sorta fun. Thursday was also a short day the periods were 5,1,& 3. during period 5 we had to work again for picture taking then just had some free time when we got back. next was art again. we worked on our art project again and went over reliable sources for our projects and future assignments. last was science we worked on we took more cornell notes that we had to learn how to take. them finally on Friday the periods were 6,2,4, & 1. and yeah we had social studies again. so again she let is work on our kamehameha project. she have is most of the answers we just had to copy it as fast as we could before she went on with the lesson LOL. then we had English we againnnn worked on narrative elements we even had to do a worksheet on it. next was math. we learned division and we got worksheet on that too! for homework thoo. lastly we had art, we just learned about more sources to trust and stuff. anddd today me cheana and tiana went to ko'olina to snorkel, it was fun. we saw some big stick fish and angel fish.

the highlights of this week was today, the beach was really great and I got to spend time with "most" of my group and it was fun.

the lesson of this week was to always ask questions. I was having a hard time finding where my math class was on Thursday after picture taking so all I did was ask and I found them easily. they were just in the library.
