soooooooooo this week my sister and her fiancé came home from California for "Christmas" but aren't staying until Christmas they're leaving on Monday, so not really christmas just Christmas time lmao. but it's been a really really fun week I'm really satisfied with it, I'm pretty sure it couldn't have gone better unless somebodyyyyy didn't get suspended but that doesn't really matter, it was still a really fun week. we had winter fairrrr and frog dissecting and omg it was a fun week. periods for monday were 4,6,2,&1.  in period 4 we did a review test for unit 4 & a study booklet. for period 6 we did corrections, then the last two periods I left school early to go to the dentist. on Tuesdays the periods were 5,1,3&2 in period 5 we didn't really do anything, in period 1 we worked in our art, period 3 was idk, and 2 was working on our essay. on Wednesday the periods were 6,2&4. in period 6 we played a jeoprody game. in period 2 we worked on our essay again, and in period 4 we took a test. Thursday's periods were 1,3&5 & it was my moms birthday too! she's old now, but in art we worked on our project againnnn, in period 3 we did our frog dissection finally, and period 5 we worked on our posters. On friday the periods were 2,4,6&1 in period 2 we watched a movie & I slept. in period 4 we had free time, in period 6 we did a word search. and it was also winter fair so we did that too, that was fun. 

highlight would probably be this whole week because my sister was here and it was nice seeing her since I only see her once a year? lmao, but it was nice to finally see her and phillip (her fiancé) that's such a fancy word, I don't like it. ew. but yeah it was a good week, sucks that they're leaving Monday. 

lesson learned was to keep track of what you're doing, at the winter fair we needed to know when our shift was but me and tiana were so distracted watching the ilima dance team we were late to our shift and we made period 3 work longe than they should have, sorry period 3)))):

another assignment blog; secret santa

sooo, this past Wednesday was leaderships 'secret Santa' day, where everyone had to pull a name then whoever we got we had to get a gift (that was $20 or under) for that person. I had pulled Jaydes name, and for her gift she wanted a bracelet from claires, soo as the great friend I am.. I got it for her, except it was pink instead of blue like she wanted bc none of the stores I went to had that color of the bracelet she wanted. sorry kupz ))): but she still liked it, which was good I guess. and surprisingly taylor got me, I didn't think she would get me, I guess temma is real then *wink*, and well taylor of course got me what I wanted which was a giftcards to American eagle outfitters bc she's the bomb, tyty 1/2 temma. 

highlights of this "assignment" or whatever it's called was definatly shopping for jayde, lmao it was fun going to look at stores for the bracelet that she wanted. and I also pierced my ear on the same day at the same place that I bought the bracelet so that was pretty cool, guess it was a win win, huh? (;

a lesson that I learned during this "assignment" was to be appreciative, everyone went out in their own time to buy us exactly what we asked for, and that wasn't easy, at least it wasn't easy for me lmao. but it was worth it I guess, and I hope it was for everyone else too. 

second quarter? done (almost)

soooo this quarter has been very, very crazy! many things went on in leadership that we had to work really hard on, such as; Isa, talent show, secret santa, winter fair (not yet), ohh and the retreat! aaand to think that we are almost done with half of the school year? that's craz! so many things changed in my life, (involving & not involving school), like I finally pierced my cartilage! never thought that would happen.. and I made so many new friends which is really nice. I got really close to some people that I really wanted to get closer to, and it felt really good! I made some strong relationships with some people that I didn't think I would even be friends with last quarter, I'm pretty proud of myself for that. this quarter, half of my classes told us that this would be the hardest quarter & heck yeah it was! in social studies we 2 research essays, in art we had 3 projects, and in English one essay that I'm not even done with yet. (I'm doing that after I finish this blog) but I think I've done pretty good so far, all A's & 1 B but I'm trying to fix that before the week ends, striving for another 4.0 y'all. (: but I hope everyone's quarter was as good as mine, I wouldn't have had it any other way, I accomplished so many things and I'm proud of myself for that. 

ohh wow, there were so many changes this quarter where do I begin? well first of all, everyone's seats changed.. except for mine, bc I got the same seat for some reason, but I had different people around me this time. instead of tiana, I had taylor next to me & instead of dayna I had jenaya next to me. I think it was good that we changed seats, so it forced us to become closer to our other classmates wether we liked it or not, hahaha. another thing that changed was the rules! starting from quarter 2, we were no longer allowed to buy our own food (put our money in the cash box), only jah, jenaya, & Cheana could do it for us, so to an incident where the money wasn't adding up to what was being taken. and a third thing that changed was that we had new people in leadership, we got some boys who had joined leadership with us! not all of them had gotten to stay in the program but so far siofu & taven are still here and I think we've gotten used to them by now, we're all good friends. (except petriese and Tavin bc Tavin wasn't here for Secret Santa, and petriese has to go without a gift for until tavin gets back from whatever trip he's on). even though many things changed throughout the quarter, obviously some things stayed the same, like my trust & confidence in my group/period. we were the only period to have everyone attend the retreat and that's an accomplishment fo' sho'. 

dannnng, some highlights of this quarter? let's see, there was soooo many good memories from this quarter it was a really good quarter to be honest. one definatly was getting a closer relationship to Darylyn (& many other people too), I met so many new people, and got closer to so many of the people I'm already friends with, I feel like I finally know who's there for me & who isn't, it's nice to have a lot of people to actually be there for me 100%. but yeah, another highlight would definatly be the retreat, that was soooo freaking fun, nothin specific just everything about it was fun, best school field trip in a while, sooo worth missing 2 days of school for, for sure! and probably one more highlight would be finally piercing my ear, hahaha. I've wanted to do it for a whileeeeee, & I even got matching piercings with Darylyn bc were homies like that, hahaha. it hurt, but it was soo worth it at the end, pretty proud of it ya' know. 

welllllll letssss see, this quarter Ive learned a lot too, but one MAIN lesson that I've learned would probably be to find people you can trust and keep them forever, lock them away and never let them go bc theyre hard as heck to find find. yeahh I've made many good relationships this quarter but I've also lost many too, hawh. sucks to know you won't be ending the year with the same people you started it with, ya' know'? but that's okayy, not everyone's gone (I still got some locked up tight) and I'm really great fun for them, never ever letting them suckers get away from me. for sure!

late assignment blog; talent strips

so this assignment was titled; talent strips and we were given the whole weekend to come up with 3 talents and explain how it can help leadership on three strips of paper that was given to us by mr.Ing. on Monday we shared one of the three strips, then on Tuesday we shared another one of the 3 strips, and we're told that the third one would need to be demonstrated in a video that would be in our PowerPoint/keynote about the three strips along with how we used each GLO in this assignment. 

one highlight would probably be editing the video about our third talent, it was fun to get to use iMovie since I don't get to use it often, being able to make it fun by adding background music or titles, just to make it personalized even more and show what creativity I have to use, to make it more "me". another highlight might be thinking of the three talents, it was a challenge but the help of other people and helping other people we all thought of our own 3 talents that for us well and could be "demonstratable" I guess, but it was a fun challenge of course. Then obviously another highlight would have to be,  decorating the talent strips, that was really fun, getting to draw and personalize the strips too along with the video/PowerPoint. the whole project was pretty fun in general to be honest.

a lesson that I learned during this assignment was not to be ashamed, or shy. we had to first present 2 of the 3 strips in front of the class, confidently or it wouldn't be a good presentation, then we had to video tape ourselves explaining a talent or "skill" we had, then demonstrate it while being recorded. that couldn't be done without confidence, orrrr "believing in yourself" if you wana be cheesy about it, hahaha. but it was a valuable lesson that I can remember next time we have to present or talk in front of a big group, be confident so people will be interested in what you are saying. 

one thing that I would change if I could do thins assignment again would probably be how I presented my first talent, the first time was unexpected and I think I could have done a better job at explaining my talent to everyone and making more sense for the "audience" lolol, but other than that I'm proud of what I had done for this assignment I put my full effort and tried my best to meet the standards for this assignment.

sooo this week was pretty busy, I missed a lot of classes. and a lot of opprotunities to talk to certain people and get things off my chest, but there's always next week! which is the last week before Christmas break! this week was tv, and I don't like tv bc I don't like going on tv but oh wells. on Monday I stayed home from school and went to pearlridge instead to pierce my ear finally! and spend the day with mommy, also my god mother came to visit so we picked her up from the airport too. on Tuesday was the flu shot clinic, and also the periods were 6,2,4&5. in period 6 we finished our final draft and I had to finally serve all of my detentions from last week when jordan made me late to period 6, two days in a row lmao. then in period two, me and tiana worked the flu shot clinic for extra credit was was pretty cool. in period 4 we learned about tax & tip, & since I'm pretty good at percentages it was really easy for me. then for CCLM we just did whatevers. on Wednesday we had to come early for sign waving, which was really fun for me at least we got 50+ honks. B) & periods were 1,3&5. in period 1 we worked on our shoe drawings and ms.fukuda said mine was nice soo you know that's good I guessss. in period 3 we did some worksheets and me and tiana had to take the notes we missed when we were absent on Monday. then period 5 we worked on our project again. Thursday's periods were 2,4&6. in period 2 we started our essay about advertising to children & stufffff. in period 4 we did concepts on percents and worked on a booklet thing that is due Monday, ugh. then for period 6 we watched a video and did a worksheet that I guess I did pretty well on but idk. Lastly, on Friday we had a field trip to the bowling alley for ISA and I did so badly, lmao but at least we got better scores than the girls on the lane next to us, they sucked really badly. one of them got only 9 points for one game, bwhahaha sucks to suck, jkjk. 

highlight for this week was probably Friday, I got to get even closer to the people who came and bowled (Julia, taylor,tiana,&deriecka) we requested song together and shared food/drinks and laughed at eachother whenever our ball went into the gutter. it MOSTLY was a fun day, & then in the bus Waipahu was singing songs and yeezus they were really good! 

lesson learned was that it's okay to embarrass yourself in front of your friends, bc they will do it back sooner or later. like at bowling, they would

joke around and tease me when I got it in the gutter but we did it right back when they did too. lmao but also I learned not to forgive and forget. it's okay to forgive, but never forget bc nobody can 100% change forever, they can make the same mistakes over and over without even realizing it and we have to deal with that.. ohh and that, so many people from our school are fake af', they can try to talk to you and pretend to be friends but then tweet so much crap about you expecting you won't see it, like what do you think I'll do when I see the tweets about me? huh? pretend it's not there and forget about it just bc your in a salty mood atm? no, i won't talk to you anymore, I don't want anything to do with you anymore, no god damn wonder I didn't tell you any important news that happened in my life, you don't deserve to know shit about me I don't want anything to do with you at all, and I promise that I say that 100% honestly. leave me out of your tweets and your shit talking and your life & I'll do the same. YASS OMG

soo this week period 5 worked the recess/morning music which is my favorite job tbh, and it was just a really good week in general. like omg, it was a good week. okok so Monday's periods were 6,2,4,&3. in period 6 we went to B204 to do research for an essay that were working on right now that's due next week Tuesday. in period 2 we watched an advertising video & took notes for it. in period 4 we took notes on percents blah blah blah. then in CCLM we just did some study paper in period 3 for the upcoming test thing. Tuesday's periods were 1,3,5,&2. in period 1 we finished our realism project or most of it at least lmao. period 3 we did a bingo game? it was so dumb we just wrote words in a thug that looked like a bingo chart but didn't even play bingo, I was sad bc I wanted to play bingo. period 5 we worked on our power points for our 3 talents. and for CCLM; period 2 we took notes on the documentary about advertisements again. Wednesday's periods were 2,4,&6. period 2 we did spring board, and period 4 we did mark ups/ mark downs on store prices and mr.barayuga said I need to find a better way to do my planner when I do it the same way everyone else in leadership does.. sooo dang. but then in period 6 we worked more on our essays that's it. Thursday's periods were 3,5,&1. period 3 we worked on our testttt which I think I did well on, but idk. period 5 we wokred on our keynote/PowerPoint thing again and period 1 we had to completely finish our art project. Friday's periods were 4,6,2,&1. period 4 we did more with percents and stuff. period 6 we had to peer edit for our essays. period 2 we worked on a paragraph for SUTW and I think I did pretty well tbh. and for CCLM we had to draw an art think like Salvador Dali, they said mine looked cool. yee'

highlight? uhm th whole week was pretty bomb I guess, people were cool I made a lot of "new friends" and tiares birthday was today, that was cool. and a lowlight? uhh Friday, lmao somebody got suspended, and it was even periods. that suckedddddd. 

lesson? people only hear what they want to hear, so might as well tell them what they want to hear if you want them to hear you at all. does that make sense? like I got into an argument bc I was saying things they didn't want to hear I guess, so it was dumb. but it's all gee' now, so whatevs.

thanksgiving yee'

sooo guys, this week was thanksgiving (x what are you thankful for? hmm? I'm thankful for everyone who came into my life & stayed through my bs/stuggles, you guys are the real mvp's. so this was a short, fast week, but it was pretty fun while it lasted. Monday's periods were 3,5,1,&4. in period 3 we did observation worksheets which was pretty easy we just walked around and filled out papers the teacher gave up, no biggy. period 5 everyone read their ar books and stuff and just did whatevers. period 1 we started finishing our art projects, (the realism projects) with a substitute who was really weird. he was really annoying, but he let us choose our seats sooo yeah. in period 4, which was CCLM, we watched a movie sorta involving math but I've seen it before so I wasn't really paying attention lmao. On Tuesday the periods were 4,6,2,&5. in period 4, we did a practice test in R101 in the computers, and I didn't even get to finish it which was dumb. in period 6, we finished the chaper 13 worksheet with our partners and got it graded (I got 49/50 so that's an A *wink*). in period 2, we completed our CFA, and I'm not sure how I did, the poem that we took the test on was really confusing, half of the words weren't even words, like dafuq? it wasn't fair. and for period 5, which was again CCLM, we read ar books again and had free time. On Wednesday the periods were; 5,1,&3. for period 5, I took my ar test & got 10/10 which had me good for the weeks ar goal (77.7% and mine is 89.something%). For period 1, I started coloring or "markering" my realism project? lmao idk but I'm almost done & ms.fukuda said my project is creative B). and for the last period of the week, for period 3 we did another worksheet that we had to walk around to fill out, then me and Tiana were drawing on Jc's science notebook, and the other people got jealous and wanted us to draw on theirs too. but we didn't, 2cool4them lmao. #tiana-mmaontopboyo (I made that up). 

so the highlight of the week was defiantly Wednesday, it felt good reconnecting with the people I didn't get to be with for a while. I was happy about that, and also it was a short odd periods day & those days are the best. a lowlight would be like Tuesday-right now, I've been a sick little child. maudlin& shii I slept through most of thanksgiving which sucked bc everyone ate without me.. didn't even bother to wake me up, so dix. but other than being sick, this week was "hella rad" lolol. 

something I learned this week is that the truth always comes out, I lied to my sister about who I was talking to on the phone and she seriously wrestled me to see bc she knew I was lying, then embarresed me by talking to them like no, nohe you're not cool btfo. but not only that, people lie alot I've seen it a lot this passed few weeks which I'm tired of, if you know you're gonna get caught why do it? I mean I can't say anything cause I lie a lot too, lmao but why do we do it? it's dumb.

CFA round 2

summary; so this week was a little weird, kinda going back to normal? not really still a little boring and yeah, this blog is sorta late bc my phone has been dead all day today and yesterday I didn't get home until midnight so, sorry bout' that. This week period 5 worked tv/lunch music/after school sales, which was boring af'. Monday's periods were; 4,6,2,1. Tuesday's periods were; 5,1,3,6. Wednesday's periods were; 6,2,4. Thursday's periods were; 1,3,5. then Friday's periods were; 2,4,6,3. in period 1 this week we worked on our realism art, and took our CFA #2. In period 2 this week we did some spring board stuff and also started on our CFA #2 but we didn't finish it then I had to skip period 2 on Monday to work for book fair. In period 3 this week we took a few tests and we went to the book fair on Tuesday, and again we took our CFA #2 which was boring. In period 4 this week we had a test for proportions/unit rate which I did really well in, and we did our CFA #2 whih I didn't do good in I read the directions wrong and thought it said "1 foot instead of 1/2 foot" so that kinda screwed up my grade which I'm scared about. In period 5 this week we worked the book fair the whole week except on Friday for CCLM we had free time to catch up on any missed work. In period 6 this week we started taking notes for the overthrow of the Hawaiian anarchy, and took our CFA #2 which I got a "B" on, and dude that's really good I was really happy with that I was expecting a bad grade. 

highlight/lowlights; this week was cool, the best part of this week was Friday and today (Saturday). on Friday, I went to the punahou championship game at the football stadium bc my brother Kainoa is on the punahou team, so gotta support my bro'. but they lost, that was lame. Punahou still did pretty bad ass! they still on top! (: then today me and twinn-aye (Taylor) were gonna try to go to the flower patch but it was too late, so instead we went to watch the mocking jay pt1, which was pretty good. and then my sweatshirt finally came in today, waited two whole weeks for that thing, finally! and it fits perfect dude, OPT! but a lowlight? is the same for the past 3 weeks, people walking outta my life like its nothin', but nothing to sweat I'm over it. I'm tuff bb'. (:

lesson; I learned that you shouldn't waste your time on thinking things will change doing the same things over and over expecting different results is insanity. don't drive yourself insane over somebody that doesn't deserve it, Mr.Barauga taught me that. B)

soo whoever is my secret Santa is reading this blog rn, ayee boyo'. I hope these aren't like hard/ lame things for you to get, bwahaha. this is just a few things I would appreciate from you; my secret Santa *wink* for Christmas(x. I guess the first boring thing that would be cool to get would be gift cards, I mean just a gift card to places like; Jamba Juice, American eagle outfitters, orrrrr pink (I like their bathing suits & jackets) and if you don't wanna get gift cards something else on my wish list from ya' would be; socksss, is that weird? bwaha. I like low cut socks, but not the really, really low cut socks! just regular socks, lolk'? & in any color, all colorful socks are the bomb mannn. & in my opinion american eagle outfitters socks are the coolest, and ohh Victoria secret too! but it doesn't really matter where they come from lolol, they still cool (x. so, I hope these things are easy to find, which they probably are lolol. okay well happy shopping secret Santa, bu-bye. ♡☀︎

anotha' lame week(x

soo this week was again a pretty lame week, and i sorta forgot to write down what i did in each period, so i guess im just writing whatever i remember LOL. this week was morning & recess music for the fab 5. and still some people wanna be losers to me so yeah. mondays periods were 6,2,4 and 3 for cclm. tuesdays periods were.. just kidding there was no school on tuesday, it was veterans day. (: wednesdays periods were 1,3, and 5. thursdays periods were 4,6, and 2. then lastly on friday the periods were 3,5,1, and 2 for cclm. this week for period 1 we worked on our upcoming project which is about realism and ive gotten most of it done already. for period 2 we worked more on advertisings and how to attract people with writing. for period 3 we learned about cells and all the different cells in our body and their uses. for period 4 we learned more about proportions and line graphs. period-o 5 was just lamerz doing unfinished work, just whatevers. in period 6 we took a test about the sugar plantation life and stuff, and just movies about old hawaiian times blah blah blah.

higlight of the week was today, tiana and i went to my older brothers football game against kahuku. it was a pretty big game "PUNAHOU VS KAHUKU" and well, lets just say punahous still number one *winky face* and tiana and i got dip n' dots and got bubble drink, it was the bomb. and wheewh the boys there are to die for.

lesson learned is not to push people, give them time to come to you. its not fun to have people bother you with the same question over and over again, even if that person hasnt given you the answer youre looking for, for two weeks! but give them time to come to you, dont make em' hate you.

lamerz week!

SUMMARY; this whole week was just pretty much just blaaaah, i mean friday wasn't that bad it was ISA and everything went well but i wasn't "feeling it". this week week things changed, and i guess they weren't good changes, made me feel some type of way that im sick of feeling, which i dont want to bore whoever reads this (me) by listing my problems, but i felt like i should just have a disclaimer that my blog will be as lame as this past week was (; . so yeah thissssss week period 5 worked on ID's but some of the week i didn't need to work, like monday cheana made somebody cover for me bc she's the realist LOL. so uhh monday, periods were 2,4,6,&3. period 2 we had to do spring boards for english. period 4 we worked on unit rates for math. period 6 we finished research & the first draft of our immigration project. then period 5 we had free time to fix our grades bc Mr.Ing wanted everyone to be able to work for ISA on Friday. there was no school on Tuesday for voting so i went to pearl ridge and picked my brother up from school with my sister, and slept i guess. wednesdays periods were 3,5,&1. period 3 we took a test on cells & parts of cells. period 5 we got more free time to fix our grades, and deriecka brought us food so everyone ate food, derieckas the bomb.com tbh. then period 1 we had to draw observations and idk why but my teacher seriously asked me if i was high, i was so confused like did i look high? LOL i just asked why i got a 'b' in my hawaiiana art for not being creative when she was the one who told me to make the background "swirls". i did exactly what she told me to do, and she gave me a 'b'. really dumb, i dont like my math teacher anymore super irritating. but thursdays periods were 4,6,&2. period 4 we did proportional relationships. period 6 we did peer reviews for our first draft and the boy complained to my teacher that he couldnt read my paper and wrote and "I can barely read this you need to fix that, this is a problem", when everyone else could read it, frickn dummeh. bwahaha im lame, okay. Fridays periods were 5,1,3,&4 but i we had isa so we didn't go to our classes except period 4 for CCLM. but for Isa i had to keep score for court 1's basketball games. then was in charge of the ewa makai students who practiced on court one (they have hot boys in 8th grade dude). and for period 4 we did a basketball game which was lame so yeah-erz dass' it for the week.

highlight? uhmm, friday. bc i got to inrtoduce myself and meet all of the hot guys in ewa makai then had to sit and watch them warm up bc they were at court one, then kept score for most of their games which was like bomb, that was so fun omfg. and i knew most of the boys from elementary school, i didnt know they were that good at basketball like whoaahh. lowlight? a lot of the week was pretty lame not really a big lowlight to talk about.

LESSON; things can change really quick, even if you dont what it to so you have to just deal with it. and defiantly dont whine about it, bwahaha people dont like that they will call you annoying and tell you to shut up. oops (;

SUMMARY; so this week, we got 3 new leadership boys! And two of them were in my period; period 5. the two boys in period 5 were named Tavin & Mahonga, they were just trying it out for a week or two to see if they liked it and if it they were good leadership students. & this week we were working tv. so on Monday the periods were 3,5,1,&4 in period 3 we focused on cell parts, structures, & functions. in period 5 we did some ISA planning. then in period 1 we went to the media center to work on our presentation, and in CCLM we did a bingo game so Monday was a pretty boring dayy. Tuesday's periods were 4,6,2,&1, in period 4 we just reduced fractions which was lamerz. in period 6 we finished the movie we were watching last week and did research for a essay we have to write soon & in period 2 again we just did some boring stuff then in period one we drew a monster for Halloween which; mine was the nicest LOL. Wednesday's periods were 5,1,&3. period 5 chill, we just worked on whateverz but period one we went to the media center again, then in period 3 we studied and stuff. Thursdayyys periods were 6,2,&4. period 6 was just research again and period 2 was critical reading, then in period 4 we did multiplying & dividing fractions. lastly on Friday the periods were 1,3,5,&6. in period 1 we did our presentation on the research we did for an artist we were assigned. period 3 we just did a studying game and afte food, period 5 we just read our AR books and I had to deliver the iPod with jaydeeee, period 6 we had to describe pictures with a lot of details so that if you weren't looking at the picture you would know what it was about. 

HIGHLIGHTS; the highlight of the week would probably be Friday when everyone dressed up, I thought I looked pretty cool LOL. LOWLIGHT; uhh maybe that other people dressed up as the same thing as me so I wasn't that special. *sigh* 

LESSON; that some people are really lame when it comes to dressing up for Halloween, uaint2cool2dressup. pretty much everyone was a nerd, or a cat, or a hippy, like cmon be creative! be a skull LOL.

retreat yo'

OVERVIEW; so yeahh, this week we went to the retreat. & It was really fun! but this year it was during school since the fall break week was booked by somebody else. we all got our own room in the beach house. pd.5 got upstairs (with no electricity) since everyone in our period came to the retreat. pd 3 & pd 1 got the rooms connected to the kitchen. so period 5 had to share my flash light & wait until around midnight for it to finally cool down since we had no fans, it was really hot. & this year Tiana, Cheana, & I brought our snorkel stuff so we got to go out and see the fish in the water, that was pretty cool. Also taylizzle & I brought our Polaroids but her quality was better so we ended up using my film and her camera, but it was still cool I got some good pictures from the field trip. but every day we had to have a few 'sessions' where we work on something were assigned to, such as; session 1, we wrote about our group the positives & negatives of our group. 

HIGHLIGHTS; some highlights of this field trip would probably be that 1; we got to bond with eachother, & learn more about ourselves and eachother which was really nice. 2; that the people who got to come were really nice & I got closer to them which I think was good. and 3; the food Mr.Shin brought was pretty good. Taylor, Tiana, & I ate the left overs the next day, so on Tuesday we ate 4 times, ahaha. LOWLIGHTS; some lowlights would maybe be 1; that the group leaders didn't really get along this year so we didn't really mix with the other periods too much which really sucked. maybe 2; we had to miss school, I had a lot of work to make up because my teachers waited for me to come back to give me all the work I missed, which ughh really sucked I'm still catching up with the work I missed on the 20th-22nd. and the 3rd; maybe that we didn't have any power up stairs so it was really hot in there that was sucky & then there's that we couldn't have our phone so we couldn't take pictures other than with cameras we brought. but over all it was all gee'. 

LESSON; so I learned a lot of things about a lot of people. one thing I learned about my group was; were good at doing what needs to be done while having fun, we finished our sessions on time while being able to joke around & have fun with eachother, not needing to worry about falling behind or not finishing on time. we aight' we aight'. one thing I learned from each of our chaperones was that Shayna; is really nice & is a very good teacher/ leader. she helped us when we needed it, and encouraged us to be good in a nice way, making her a good leader. Laila; is really fun, and likes to watch crabs eat eachother. she's also really nice to everyone & can focus when she needs to but also be fun too. and Jolene; is in advanced placement for school and she gets a lot of homework, she's really nice and fun and very creative by how she did her vocab cards and her memory collage. all of the leaders were nice & fun I'm like really excited to see them again anytime I do. and what I learned about Mr.Ing was that he has a little Niece who loves Elsa from Frozen & can cook food.

chill week ☻

this week was actually pretty good, I mean like I didn't hate going to school this whole week, I kinda had fun I guess. we were working ID's this week, so that meant we pretty much had nothing hard so yeah it was an easy week. coming back to school from fall break wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, I was excpecting myself to be really tired & wanna go home, but people made it aight' LOL. so Starting with Monday which was my sisters 22nd birthday the periods were; 6,2,4,&1. sociaaaal studies was alright, we got new desks for the next quarter and we had to share with the class 'what we enjoyed throughout the fall break' I didn't know we would share so I wrote that I liked sleeping, that's it. it was embarresing when I had to tell everyone that all I did was sleep, LOLOL. in englishhhh we we took a quiz and wrote our planner topic that we do every week. then mathhh we just did some renovating to our math folders & did a multiplication table. lasssstly in art we just messed around in CCLM bc we had a sub that was our regular math teachers sister. Tuesday's periods were; 1,3,5,&6. arttttt was first, and we went over 'the principles of art' the whole time drawing examples ect. ect. ect. in scienceeee we went over living & no living things and that's all we could do bc cashius was annoying the teacher so the whole time she was just talking to him, it was kind of funny actually. leadershippppp was third & we started our pd.5 cheer which was pretty fun I guess we were messing around a lot. CCLM that day was social studiessssss and we went to the computer lab to take a test prep that was really tiring and I didn't like at all. WENDESDAYY's periods were; 2,4,&6. in englishhh we worked on the authors point of view. in math we found a new table leader & did multiplying fractions/decimals. then in social studies Ms.Liu gave me my work that id miss while being at the retreat. THURSDAYS PERIODS; 3,5,&1 the good periods :). in science we worked more on living & no living things with our sub. leadershippppp I took my AR test and we went into the chorus room to help fix the cards on the wall that keep falling. lastly in arttttt we did a grid drawing of anime characters which was really dumb and easy whoops. FRIDAYYYS PERIODS; 4,6,2,&3 the (sucky periods). in math we took a unit 2 practice test & we have to study bc were taking a test soon, Tuesday I think, but I'm gonna miss bc I'll be at the retreat. sociallll studiessssss, I had a guy sub so it was kinda awkward and cashius threw the paper at me, Alonso got myself a paper cut, frickn cashius. but we read an IHU NUI story about old Hawaii & that was it. englishhhhh we went over a step by step critical reading strategy that we have to start usingggg, & lastly for CCLM was an inference worksheet that took forever to do, & I forgot to spit out my gum at lunch so I sorta got into trouble but didn't. 

HIGHLIGHTTTS ☻ ; pretty much the wholeeee week, & when Darylyn walked me to the leadership class and we took pictures together, we sorta look a lot alike.. kinda creepy LOL. and also Thursday when I didn't need to work or anything & got to go outside with people lol. LOWLIGHTS ☹; uhh idrk I guess when I failed my bidet check, but I'm not even sure I failed it bc we had two, I failed one and passed the other one soo idkkk. 

this week I the lesson I learned was that 'the lesson/journey of today can only begin when you learn to let go of yesterday', it wast quote in my planner that I saw on Monday that I really thought about and believe in.

assignment blog; Zumbaaaaa

so this assignment blog is, according to the title, is; for our zumba routine! so if you don't know zumba is a type of dance that you're actually exercising while you're dancing. each period was assigned a song and we had to work with our period to make a zumba routine that we would later dance in front of the whole school, trying to attract people to dance along with us. period one chose the song 'timer' by Pitbull ft. Ke$ha, and their routine was pretty creative, I thought it was pretty cool. period 3 chose the song 'ice ice baby' by vanilla ice, and their routine was pretty cool too. I feel like our dance was the easiest, as in we had the slowest moves while everyone had fast moves that were cool. well anyways, period 5 (the fab 5) chose the song, 'get me bodied' by queen Beyoncé :). and the way were graded on this assignment was pretty interesting, the person who got the most people to participate got an 'A', the group next most participants was a 'B', and the least got a 'C'. and after everyone performed their zumba routine that they made, period 1 got a 'B' so the second most participants. period 3 got the 'C' so they got the least amount of participants. and us, period 5 got an 'A' because we got the most participants (19 people).

this assignment was a really fun assignment, I think me and my period had a lot of fun with it. I think one of the 'highlights' of this assignment would be making the dance. we had such a hard time creating the dance, we just pretty much did whatever and saw what we thought matched the song and what didn't. but also while making the dance we got to bong a whole lot, we got to see parts of each others personality that we haven't seen before, and learn more about each other. such as the fact that Tiana really likes to body-roll and Deriecka isn't good at reading directions, haha. but I guess I would say a low-light was when we performed it, it was kinda awkward because non of the other leadership students danced with us, it felt pretty awkward.

so in this we obviously used our 'GLOs' and heres some examples of how; GLO #1 is to be a self directed learner, each person in the group had their own part to dance and we all had the responsibility of learning the dance and remembering it. everyone in period five has done that including myself. GLO #2 is to be a community contributor, in order to make our group dance at all we would need to work together to decide which moves we should use and which we shouldn't so period 5 including myself used has accomplished that GLO. GLO #3 is to be a complex thinker, me along with everyone in period 5 had to think hard to decide what dance moves would appeal to the crowd of 12, 13, & 14 year olds. which we got the most participants so I would think we did pretty good with that GLO. GLO #4 is being a quality producer, meaning we would've produced a good zumba routine and again since we got the most participants i think we did pretty good with that GLO. GLO #5 is an effective communicator, me and everyone in period 5 have to communicate with each other and we had to communicate with our peers to teach them how our routine goes and to ask them to participate along with us and our zumba. GLO #6, the last GLO, was to be an ethical user of technology, almost everyone from period 5 had posted on social media outlets the dates that we would be having our dance routines, asking people to come participate with us, some people even posted for us to help spread the word, which was really nice.

in the first paragraph I explained how we were graded on this assignment, but i didn't explain if I agreed to how it was set up. I think it was actually a good way to grade our assignment, as well as being a good motivation, to make us want to get more people to participate in our zumba routine. Seeing that period 5 got an 'A' says that were hard working competitors and that makes me and probably the rest of period 5 proud and accomplished, just because of the way we were graded so it seems like a good idea, anndd it encourages you to try harder to beat the other periods, making you try harder.

period 5 dance routine in paragraph form;; First we're gonna be clapping to the beat. Next we will be doing high knees for two missions, then we will do shuffle claps, starting by stepping to the right. Next is the lazy monkey, we will be doing this for 16 counts. Then we will be doing swing lock, swing to the right first, for 16 counts. Next is the lipgloss dance, we will start with the right side. Next is high knees again. Then shuffle clap, then lazy monkey, then swing lock, and the lipgloss dance for two times though. We will now be doing stretches. First stretch is cross toe touches. Touching your right foot first. Then we will be doing touch the sky and touch your toes. Starting with touching your toes first. Then we will do shuffle clap again, then lazy monkey, then swing lock and strike a pose for the ending!

fall break, ayyyee.

So happy that this quarter is finally over, like yassss. 1/4 of this year is already over, it feels like school just started and a whole quarter passed. that means the semesters half way doneee, and pretty soon I'm going to have P.E. instead of art, hopefully this quarter lasts a littttle bit longer than the last. LOL. but this week, my job pd.5 had tv along with after school sales andd lunch-music. annd, Mond-ayeee's periods wereee 1,3,5&4. so starting with art, i finally finished my scratch art. I'm sorta disappointed of how it came out, the shark looks messed up, bc of the paint our teacher had us use. (it was the wrong kind) but after i finished i just got to do anything as long as I wasn't a disturbance.. LOL. the next period was science with Tiana & Deriecka (dare-ee-eck-ahh). and we had to do a worksheet on a myth busters and i had to work with my group, honestly very hard due to my dysfunctional table. Then was leadership I tried to take some AR tests, and I finished my middle bar (official goal), but not the rest. So I can go to the retreat, but I wont get end of the year recognition. smh, freaking irritating! CCLM for monday was math, we did the PB&J thing where he gave him directions of how to make it, and he makes it. My groups came out horribly, it was so funny. Better than any other group though. Tuesd-ayeees periods were 2,4,6&3. the first class was english and we had to do peer reviews for our writing piece for our 4th draft. then was then i had to go to my math class and all we worked on was adding & subtracting positive and negative numbers. third was social studies and we took a vocab test on words we worked on while writing about ancient hawaiians, i got two wrong meaning i got a B, whatever. CCLM for tuesday was science and i sorta forgot what we did, sooo were just not going to write about that one. Wednesd-ayeeees periods were odds; 3,5&1, the best periods :). period 3 was agin science with Deriecka & Tiana, and we took out test on the scientific method. I did well, bc it was open notes so it was pretty easy. then it was leadership again, and we couldn't and that was the period that i stayed the whole time in the library looking for a book that didn't exist. last period was art, and i didn't need to do anything bc i finished everything and the quarter was ending so, i just watched Darylyn do her painting of the turtle, that everyone makes fun of bc "it looks like a chicken". Thursd-ayeees periods were 4,6,&2. Math we did a worksheet on subtracting positive & negative numbers. then was social studies again, we did a some game with the write boards and my group cheated bc we kept getting all the questions wrong but we added points anyways, whoops. last even learning period of the quarter was english and we fixed our final draft, then free time. Lastly Frid-ayeees periods were 5,1,3,&2. but everyone was late to the first period bc we were getting yelled at, bc nobody wanted to dance with pd5 (my period) for the zumba, when it was required of every leadership student. but in the first period was leadership for me anyways so i wasnt late. me & Tiana had to go n a dumpster run for all the empty ice cream boxes. then just clean since we were on restrictions. then was art and again i didn't need to do anything since i was done. last odd period of the quarter was science, and we just watched maleficent the whole period. and the last period of the entire day was english we watched the old goose bumps episodes that everyone hated, but Ms.Ballou gave us cookies so i couldn't complain.

The highlight of the week would have to be friday, when we had to do our zumba dance. when i messed up it was embarrassing. but it was still funny bc everyone messed up at the same time i did, and the lowlight of the week was also friday. but when we were put on restrictions and Mr.Ing took out cubbies away. but we later got it back so i guess it wasn't that bad, also when i couldn't finish my AR goal. that sucked too.

my lesson learned this week was "never stop just bc you feel defeated. the journey to the other side is attainable only after great suffering" thats a quote from my planner that i saw that i apparently learned from. it just seemed interesting.

quarter one? done.

Did you read the title and think I meant; "this quarter was so easy" uhh, not even close. I didn't realize how involved leadership was with our school. how important me were to the whole school. right when we started school, certain jobs were thrown at us that I had no idea about, like somebody forgot to tell me that we had everyday responcibilities. I thought it would be way too much for me, that I wouldn't be able to handle it at all, but as weeks went on I realized that I wasn't as weak as I was expecting myself to be, obviously with the help of friends I got through first quarter alive. our first big assignment given to us was to make a flyer for the upcoming 'Welcome Social' and the 'Welcome Social' itself, and it was a pain in the butt. I finished the flyer in time and mine turned out pretty nice except I had a little too much open space. but the welcome social, oh gosh I had to do the ring toss and that meant I needed to walk back and forth to pick up the rings every time they threw it, very very difficult when you're out of shape. our next big assignment of the quarter would have to be our leadership PowerPoint and that was the hardest thing by faaaaar, I stayed up so late to Finnish my video essay and Tiana stayed up even longer, I'm glad that it came out nicely though and I'm proud of my grade for it. another one was open house but that wasn't really anything, and we don't need to talk about that. our last and most recent obstacle was finnishing AR to be able to go to the retreat &&&& keeping our grades to above a "C" and I did well with that, I have a 4.0 as of rightttt nowww. 

transitioning from elementary school to middle school was so different, especially that my middle school is Ilima. being with new people, mean people, cool people, all different people. I may have not surrounded myself with good people in the beginning but I'm sure I did now. in elementary school we didn't have to move from class to class is 2 minutes, and we didn't have 6 different teachers. it was strange, but I like it. and being around the environment and people at Ilima obviously changed my behaveir, I don't know how exactly but I'm not the same girl as I was from holomua. we didn't have security guards and we had air conditioning, but it all changed. it took a while to get accustomed to but obviously we had to and we did, it's fine now. it's like my new homeeeee. just don't like riding the city bus, that sucks badly. that's one thing I miss about holomua, not needing to ride the city bus. 

I had many highlights from this quarter, I got make good relationship.. brake some good relationships, lol. every period 5 is a highlight for me I get a little more time to spend with my period to get to know eachother a little more and bond a little more. but one big one was open house, well not the open house it's self, before that! we had the leadership reunion, I got to meet some of he old people from leadership, although I didn't talk to most of them I got the see the past generations of leadership. ten we got subway, the subway was the best. But after thaat; me, Taylor, Tiana, & Cheana walked to Taco Bell and got some Baja blast, obviously the best day so far. not gonna forget that day for a looooong time. then theres low lights of the quarter, hmm maybe recently when everyone out of their AR until recently and I did get to finish my goal, but not the top and bottom bars. I'm happy that I'll be attending the retreat, but it sucks that I won't be able to be annouced at the end of the his year! I stupidly regret procrastinating of doing my AR until a week until, I know it won't happen again. I won't let it happen again, scary but true.

Monday we had periods 2,4,6,&1. in English we had to work on our third paragraph and that's pretty much it.  then was math and we worked on adding & subtracting fractions. third was social studies and we did some vocabulary stuff. last I had art and I started to finish sharpieing my Hawaiians work, I think my shark looks pretty cool actuall LOL. Tuesday's periods were 3,5,1&6 and we did our heart rate thing. then in leadership we had to do more with our Zumba stuff, the art we started coloring the Hawaiian art. last was social studies we had to correct sentences, I sat behind a hot boy, LOLOL yass. Wednesday's periods were 4,6,&2. math we worked on number lines and in social studies we had to read a comic called "ihunui" then lastly in English we fixed our third paragraph or something I guess. Thursday's periods were 5,3,&1 in leadership we had to practice more on Zumba because on Friday they had to teacher dance team our own dance. in science we worked on graphs and the boy sitting next to me wearing the cast smelled pretty weird, I mean.. in a bad way. then in art I finished coloring and I'm about to paint everything so I'm almost donee. and fridaaaays periods were 6,2,4,&5 but my team went to a field trip to the bowling ally and I didn't go so I just stayed in the leadership room until 11 o'clock when my dad picked me and Tiana up to go to my brothers homecoming football game at punahou against iolani they won 50 something to 27? 26? I'm not sure but then after hat they lit the P on fire which was really cool and the kids around us were so rude, somebody hit me in the face with their hair. it hurt so bad LOLOL. 

highlight of the week was duhh, Friday. we didn't have and school work and we got to watch the other periods do their Zumba dance annnd I went to my brothers homecoming game afterwards, it was pretty gee'. until my brother cropped me out of the picture he posted from the game. smh. but the lowlight? um when I read all of the tweets Cheana made about me, hmph I hope she's reading my blog rn. LOL ty for all of the tweets about me, you wonder why I don't download it. don't wanna make a bad decision and tweet something that I know would hurt somebody else's feeling. :) 

lesson learned, not everybody is gonna like you. even if they pretend they do, there is some fake fake people out there. so gotta watch out, it's not fun finding out somebody dislikes you. makes you feel a certain way, like you're not good enough for them to like you. humph, wise words from Emma.. gotta look out 24/7

Party city

Mond-ayyyyes periods were 3, 5, 1, & 4. First was science, and we just watched a video and took notes, but next was leadership And we had to work on our Zumba dance and it was pretty fun. Third was art, and we had to go to the media center to work on our Hawaiians art. I'm drawing a shark and it's pretty ba. Then we had math and we did a game where we raced other tables to see who can do math problems faster and work on our team work. Tuesd-ayees periods were 4, 6, 2, & 3. First was math and we learned how to find the GCF & LCM. and I caught on pretty easy. Next was social studies and we had to take a test on foreigners and it was pretty easy bc I took good notes, i got an A. And I let Tirana use my notes and she almost got an A too. Third was language arts, but in the middle of class I left school to go to Waikiki to meet my dad's brother and his wife for the first time bc they came to Hawaii on a cruise. And it was really fun me and my nephews were swinging on the vines of the trees LOL. wednesd-ayees periods were 5, 1, & 3. First was leadership so again we worked on our Zumba dance. Next was art and again we just worked on Hawaiians art and some people started sharpieing their drawings but I didn't. Last was science and we did an activity called the Pennie flip to show how the more you do the experiment the more accurate it will be. Thursdays periods were 6, 2, & 4.  First was social studies and we took notes and stuff, but that's it. Next was English and we watched more videos about how to start a personal narrative. Last was math and we met Mr.J and taught us a magic trick and he told us about some math camp which sounded cool. Frid-ayees periods were 1, 3, 5, & 2. First was art, and I started sharpying finally. Then was science and we learned step 6 in doing an experiment and took notes and stuff. Third was period 5 and we mostly just messed arpund playing cards and Jayde fell asleep and her eyes were open! LOL last was period 2 and that was English. We had to draw a picture to represent what's important to have in a personal narrative. Then after school on Friday my old school holomuas annual ohana fair, I went and saw most of the people I hated when I went to that school and some of the teachers I hated to, so yay! but I also saw some people I missed and got to talk and stufffffff. It was pretty cool.

The highlight of this week was probably Friday, the ohana fair was pretty fun. And I got cotton candy. Truly the best thing ever. So it was was obviously the best day out of the week. Yippee to ohana fair! Yassss, but the lowlight.. Maybe like Wednesday, I was stuck at home it was boring.

The lesson learned this week would be that friends are forever, at ohana fair I saw some people I haven't seen for a while and we still acted as if we saw each other everyday, like we turned up together forever and nothing ever changed, I missed them. I really did, but ehh I'll see them again next year. LOL
